Modern society is dependant upon the continuous supply of electricity; its importance is so great in our working and daily lives that if it is absent for a moment our lives become disrupted.
Therefore, the supply of this extremely precious resource must be reliable. Various conditions including human error, natural phenomena and installation breakdowns compromise the continuity and quality of the electricity. In addition to dramatic blackout, abnormal oscillations and irregularities in the mains supply can put human life at risk, cause immense economic damage in the productive sector, impair the function of indispensable instruments or lead to the loss of valuable information.
Therefore, our mission is to provide a continuous and reliable electrical supply with the utilization of our UPS products. This is the mission of SIEL, the leading Italian group in the design and production of Uninterruptible Power Systems.

SIEL HISTORY

1983.
SIEL was founded by a small group of managers with many years experience in the UPS Industries.

1990.
Opening of the new factory in Trezzano Rosa.
Expansion and growth in the International Markets.

1993 ~ 1995.
Focus on the telecommunication market.
Development of large capacity UPS (up to 1000kVA).
Introduction of micro-controlled equipment.

1997 ~ 1998.
Strengthening of the company�s image and position.
Acquisition of prestigious projects such as Malpensa 2000 Airport.
Introduction of IGBT across the complete range.

1999.
Achievement of leadership position in the large UPS segment (over 100kVA)
Acquisition of SIAC SRL to extend the coverage of the power supply market.

TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATION

The core of all domestic and international activities of the group, is the modern building in Trezzano Rosa; an 18,000 square meter factory, where all design, manufacturing, sales and marketing functions are hosted.

A world-wide organization covering 40 countries in 5 continents and a domestic network of after-sales centers are managed from Trezzano Rosa.
SIEL has obtained ISO 9001 certification, which ensures equipment, is designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards.
