the compressive load cell range starts at a load capacity of 20kgs, with a small button compressive load cell manufactured from high strength aluminum. At the other end of the scale, we can supply high strength stainless steel compressive load cells with full environmental protection, and calibrated to several hundred tones.

3 - Load Shackles
|
|
Load shackles are designed as a simple and practical method of obtaining tensile load measurement.
The marine and industrial load shackle ranges have an innovative stainless steel pin, manufactured
complete with anti-rotation plate and fitted with a loading bobbin. Load shackle capacities start from 2te.
rising to 600te., and may be customized to suit your requirements. Instrumented load shackles can be
used in place of standard shackles in lifting and pulling applications, and can be used in the harshest
of environments.

4 - Tensile Load Cells
|
|
The tensile range of load cells can generally be divided into two main types - flat plate and tensile columns.
All tensile links are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, cover a range from 4te. to 60 te.
and can be considered an effective alternative to the load shackle. The tensile link columns have threaded
ends suitable for swivel bearings, and are manufactured from high strength aluminum for low capacities and
stainless steel for higher capacities

5 - Weighing Kits |
|
Many of the load cells and instrumentation can be combined into a weighing kit,
which is contained in a specific carry/storage case. Options available in
these kits include infra-red zeroing units, battery chargers and telemetry.

| 6 - Amplifiers
|

Strainstall supply a range of amplifiers, including versions that are
incorporated into our load cells. Also available are external amplifiers
that can be supplied with or without trips and an intrinsically safe
version for explosive areas.
